Sustainability

Better choices. Better basics. Built for kids who move.

At UTHNTiC, sustainability starts with making clothing that is actually worth wearing.

Kids grow fast, but their clothes shouldn’t fall apart faster. That’s why we focus on better materials, durable everyday construction, responsible sourcing, and pieces designed to be worn properly — not thrown away after a few washes.

We’re not here to pretend we’re perfect. Sustainability is an ongoing journey. But every decision we make is guided by one simple goal:

Create junior streetwear with more care for people, quality, and the planet.

OUR APPROACH

BETTER MATERIALS

We aim to source garments and materials through suppliers that use organic, recycled, and lower-impact fabrics wherever possible.

This may include:

Organic cotton
Recycled polyester
Responsibly sourced textiles
Lower-impact fabric choices

Better materials mean softer, more comfortable clothing for kids, and a better starting point for the planet.

ETHICALLY MADE

We work with suppliers and manufacturing partners who aim to follow responsible and ethical production practices.

These practices may include:

No child labour
No forced labour
Safe working environments
Fair and lawful wages
Reasonable working hours
Respectful workplaces

Where available, we aim to work with partners who align with recognised ethical manufacturing principles and responsible industry standards.

BUILT TO LAST

The most sustainable clothing is the clothing that gets worn again and again.

UTHNTiC pieces are designed for real kids — school, weekends, skateparks, playgrounds, washing machines, and repeat wear.

We focus on:

Durable everyday basics
Clean, wearable fits
Quality cotton feel
Pieces made for movement
Clothing designed to be outgrown, not outworn

Because better value is not just about price. It’s about how much wear you get from each piece.

LESS WASTE

We believe in creating clothing with more intention and less unnecessary waste.

Where possible, we aim to reduce overproduction by keeping ranges focused, producing in considered quantities, and avoiding throwaway trend cycles.

We are not trying to chase every trend.

We are building better junior essentials that can stay in rotation longer.

REPLACE + RECYCLE

Kids grow. That part won’t change.

But outgrown clothing doesn’t need to go straight to landfill.

Through our Replace + Recycle program, UTHNTiC gives outgrown pieces a chance at a second life through donation, recycling, or responsible reuse where possible.

Outgrown, not outworn.

That’s the standard we’re working toward.

CONSCIOUS PACKAGING

We aim to reduce unnecessary packaging waste wherever possible.

Depending on supplier and product availability, this may include:

Compostable mailer bags
Recycled packaging materials
Reduced-plastic shipping options
More responsible packaging choices

Small details matter, from the product itself to the way it arrives at your door.
